Collaboration agreement between Red Eléctrica and the Government of Valencia for the prevention and fighting of forest fires.

In 2014, Red Eléctrica published a fire prevention handbook aimed at the general public that is based on the standards included in the Prevention Plans in the Autonomous Region of Valencia. The following are among the topics covered in the publication: access roads, water tanks and reservoirs, forest firebreak areas, forest-urban interface, agricultural waste incinerators and recreational areas.
