The Supplier ESG Program includes the supply chain sustainability objectives and the actions that Redeia is carrying out to achieve them, placing the supplier at the centre. Therefore, the document summarizes the integrated management of supplier risk and the control actions for its mitigation, as well as the Action Plan in which the supplier is the protagonist.
In 2024, we received assessments from over 170 nationwide providers that provide supplies for Redeia’s transmission grid. The final result was as follows:
- Overall satisfaction rating: 7.8 points out of 10.
- Rating for the services through which the supplier interacts with our company: 8,0 points out of 10.
- Redeia's corporate reputation: 8.7 points out of 10.
Overall, the questions related to Services and Overall Reputation Rating of Redeia show results within the strong point level (8.0). In services, professionalism, credibility, impartiality and the electronic invoicing and payment process with Redeia stand out. In terms of opportunities for improvement, suppliers mainly raise requirements related to planning and scheduling, efficiency or agility in key processes and greater communication during the tendering process.
Redeia shares the result of the assessment and the action plan defined on the improvement proposals identified with a sample of participating suppliers to assess their level of satisfaction with both. In 2024, 95% of this sample of suppliers were very satisfied or satisfied with the study and 100% were very satisfied or satisfied with the proposed improvement plan.

We have been included by CDP in the Supply Engagement Leaderboard 2021, recognising our strong performance in translating commitment to climate action into the supply chain. For the Group, extending this commitment and making progress with our suppliers is essential to achieving reductions in emissions and reaching the global goal of limiting the temperature increase to 1.5 °C.
We are implementing initiatives to make joint progress in this area, including the collaboration programme for the reduction of the carbon footprint in the supply chain.
We makes various communication channels available to its suppliers in order to facilitate and improve supplier relationships and better attend to their requests or queries.
