Commitment to Sustainability in the supply chain
Procurement management plays a key role in our Commitment to Sustainability. At Redeia we want to lead the transition towards a more sustainable economy and this involves incorporating concepts such as climate change, circular economy, safety, diversity and biodiversity into our processes.
Therefore, we encourage our current and future suppliers to incorporate sustainability criteria so that together we can achieve our commitments.
We publish a new version of Supplier Code of Conduct which objective is to disseminate and promote values and responsible practices regarding the suppliers' working and professional conduct within their different areas of activity.

The company has introduced the following training programmes in collaboration with the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact.
ESG Program
The Supplier ESG Program includes the supply chain sustainability objectives and the actions that Redeia is carrying out to achieve them, placing the supplier at the centre. Therefore, the document summarizes the integrated management of supplier risk and the control actions for its mitigation, as well as the Action Plan in which the supplier is the protagonist.
Our suppliers’ feedback about us
In 2022, we received assessments from over 150 nationwide providers that provide supplies for Redeia’s transmission grid. The final result was as follows:
- Overall satisfaction rating: 7.4 points out of 10.
- Rating for the services through which the supplier interacts with our company: 7.8 points out of 10.
- Redeia's corporate reputation: 8.5 points out of 10.
In the overall assessment, suppliers highlighted the smooth communication and positive interaction and collaboration with Redeia. Secondly, they stressed our team’s professionalism, experience and image and identified opportunities for improvement, with requirements primarily related to planning and scheduling, as well as efficiency and agility in key processes.

Included on the Supply Engagement Leaderboard 2021
We have been included by CDP in the Supply Engagement Leaderboard 2021, recognising our strong performance in translating commitment to climate action into the supply chain. For the Group, extending this commitment and making progress with our suppliers is essential to achieving reductions in emissions and reaching the global goal of limiting the temperature increase to 1.5 °C.
We are implementing initiatives to make joint progress in this area, including the collaboration programme for the reduction of the carbon footprint in the supply chain.
We makes various communication channels available to its suppliers in order to facilitate and improve supplier relationships and better attend to their requests or queries.
