Since 2005, promoting corporate volunteering has been one of Redeia's lines of work, stemming from our firm commitment to improving society. Besides, it has also allowed us to channel our employees’ charitable spirit and social concerns.
In 2017, we designed a corporate volunteering model aimed at addressing the social, environmental, and general interest needs of the territories where we operate, implementing corporate values through voluntary employee participation.
Based on this, corporate volunteering programmes must align with the company's 2030 Sustainability Commitment and also contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, addressing local needs.
In 2021, the model was updated with a strategic approach aimed at channelling talent and providing solutions to social and environmental issues.
