EnREDando, our corporate volunteering
Since 2005, promoting corporate volunteering has been one of Redeia's lines of work, stemming from our firm commitment to improving society. Besides, it has also allowed us to channel our employees’ charitable spirit and social concerns.
A management model to address specific needs
In 2017, we designed a corporate volunteering model aimed at addressing the social, environmental, and general interest needs of the territories where we operate, implementing corporate values through voluntary employee participation.
Based on this, corporate volunteering programmes must align with the company's 2030 Sustainability Commitment and also contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, addressing local needs.
In 2021, the model was updated with a strategic approach aimed at channelling talent and providing solutions to social and environmental issues.

A smile heals everything
We aim to bring a smile to hospitalised children's faces through the Theodora Foundation and its Giggle Doctors. Our volunteers contribute by colouring ‘Pajamas of Illusion’ and creating ‘Superhero Kits,’ among other activities.

LIBERA Project, united against ‘BASURALEZA’
A project created by SEO/BirdLife and Ecoembes to promote circular economy through packaging recycling. Our employees joined the challenge of helping to keep natural areas free of waste.

Food and essential product collection
Food collection for the soup kitchen belonging to the Tardor Association in Palma de Majorca and a donation of over 3 thousand litres of milk to various food banks, essential products for the homeless in several cities, etc.

Mission to Mars; building a rocket
We bring science and engineering to children from an early age, fostering a culture of innovation and creative capacity.

Role-play session with women at risk of social exclusion
Several volunteers accompanied women at risk of social exclusion, alongside the Quiero Trabajo Fundación (I want a Job Foundation), to improve their access to employment and foster their autonomy and confidence with a view to their insertion into the labour market.
