Informative sessions on energy

Red Eléctrica contributes to the dissemination of knowledge regarding the functioning of the electricity system by encouraging participation in conferences and training/informative sessions.

In May 2020, Red Eléctrica supported the “For a Positive Future” campaign, organized by Observatorio 2030 of the Senior Council of the College of Architects of Spain (CSCAE) and the Next Educación platform, with the collaboration of Civil Society for Debate. The campaign involved experts from the building sector and leading figures discussing their thoughts on a more sustainable, fairer and better new normality capable of regeneration.

A number of widely recognised figures participated in the initiative and shared their ideas and proposals in short videos.

Chairwoman Beatriz Corredor used her speech to explain the Red Eléctrica Group’s efforts to implement sustainable development as an essential support for economic and social recovery in the wake of COVID-19.
