As a result of the recent approval of the 2018-2022 Strategic Plan of the Red Eléctrica Group, and with the aim of supporting the corporate development required for its launch and execution, on 26 March the Board of Directors of the Company approved reinstating the position of Deputy Secretary of the Board, who reports to the current General Secretariat.

After evaluating several candidates, and on the proposal of the Secretary of the Board, as of today, Mª Concepción Ordíz Fuertes has been appointed as the Group's Deputy Secretary of the Board. She has a Law degree from the University of Oviedo and holds a Diploma in Advanced Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid. Ms. Ordíz has been a State attorney since 1999 and as such has worked in the National High Court, in the Legal Service of the State Tax Agency (AEAT) and in the Support Unit of the General Sub-Directorate of the Contentious Services of the State Attorney General. Since 2014, she has been General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of SEPI (State Industrial Holding Company).
