Informative sessions on energy

Red Eléctrica contributes to the dissemination of knowledge regarding the functioning of the electricity system by encouraging participation in conferences and training/informative sessions.

Red Eléctrica has collaborated since 2018 with the Association of Renewable Energy Companies (APPA) in the organisation of the seminar “Women who Transmit Energy”, the aim of which is to share the views, experience and knowledge of some of the experts in the Spanish energy sector.

In 2019, this seminar was attended by Ana de Anca, Manager of Red Eléctrica’s IT Systems Area, who took part in the round table on innovation and technology to meet the targets for 2030.

The chairwoman Beatriz Corredor took part in the cycle of debates in 2020, on 8 April, to share her professional view of the changes in the Spanish energy model. On 11 June, the chairwoman took part in the round table again to discuss the role of the electricity sector in economic recovery.
