Informative sessions on energy

Red Eléctrica contributes to the dissemination of knowledge regarding the functioning of the electricity system by encouraging participation in conferences and training/informative sessions.

In April 2019, Red Eléctrica worked with the Club Diario de Mallorca on the “Energy Transition” forum, which was held to offer a cross-sectional analysis of the current situation and the immediate prospects for growth based on the competitiveness and sustainability of a decarbonized economy.

The session was attended by the Secretary of State for Energy and Red Eléctrica’s General Manager of System Operations, Miguel Duvison, among others, who stressed the enormous problem that global warming represents and the need to find alternative sources.
