Support for local culture.

For Red Eléctrica, local cultural activities that help keep popular traditions and folklore alive are a contribution to well-being and coexistence.

Red Eléctrica collaborated in 2018 in the holding in Vilanna – a town belonging to the municipality of Bescanó (Girona) – of its Fiesta Mayor, or main festivities, which took place on 22 and 23 September, with activities for all audiences.

Red Eléctrica has been collaborating in the local celebrations, in honour of Saint Matthew, since 2015. These consist of traditional and cultural activities typical of the area: games for the little ones and leisure events for the adults, including a Catalan dance and music show. The festivities ended with a solemn Mass with choral singing.
