Red Eléctrica is committed to the local communities where its facilities are located by collaborating on actions that contribute to improving the well-being of people and their municipalities, and through support for the protection of basic needs, promotion of sport and healthy habits and the preservation of their culture.

Red Eléctrica collaborated in April 2019 in the 6^th Doñana International Bird Fair, held in the Dehesa de Abajo Natural Reserve, in Puebla del Río (Seville) to promote the future of birdwatching tourism and nature and showcase the area’s sustainable development.

Red Eléctrica has been sponsoring this event since its creation in 2014. It includes talks and exhibitions, as well as outdoor activities such as guided tours through Doñana and the marshes of the river Guadalquivir.

In addition, the fair had over forty stands where you could buy products related to birdwatching and, fundamentally, there were specialised travel offers to see birds in the wild throughout Andalusia, Spain, Europe and other parts of the world.

This edition was attended by some 4,000 domestic and international enthusiasts and birdwatchers.
