Red Eléctrica Forest – The Tremuzo Forest (A Coruña)

Recovery of degraded natural areas and the offsetting of greenhouse gas emissions through the planting of trees. Support for training and local employment.

Results
  • Restoration of 40.9 hectares through the planting of trees, favouring the recovery of flora and fauna as well as the recovery of the quality of the landscape: restoration of a wooded forest with native vegetation (chestnut, oak, birch, alder, pine, holly and cork oak).
  • Several environmental workshops will be carried out in two schools in the area.
