Nesting and perching deterrents for the White Stork (Ciconia ciconia)

Devise a system that prevents the White Stork from nesting on the cross arms or other insulation points of electricity towers.

  • Installation of three models of nesting and perching deterrents (two models, spikes and electric shock track, designed by Red Eléctrica and a third, commercially available, umbrella model) on a total of 18 towers of two electricity lines.
